UK long range weather forecast

The week should start on a reasonable note in many areas, with a fair amount of dry and bright weather, especially in southern parts of the UK. Further north and west there will always be more in the way of cloud with a risk of some showers or spells of rain at times. Through the rest of the period it looks likely that fairly typical conditions will dominate across all parts, with northern and western areas often most at risk of outbreaks of rain, while further south and east will see the best of the drier and brighter interludes. There is a risk of showers even here though which at this time of year are prone to being heavy with occasional thunder. Temperatures will probably remain a little above average.

Updated:

There is nothing to suggest that conditions will be massively different to climatology at the end of the current month and though the first half of June. That said, both temperatures and rainfall are more-likely to be a little above average overall, with a fairly mixed bag seemingly most probable, with further rain or showers (possibly heavy/thundery at times) but also some spells of increasingly warm sunshine when it's not raining.
